Synonymous with cutting edge style and award-winning brilliance, Darren Fowler is part of a new breed of hairdressing talent to emerge on the British Hairdressing circuit. 

Darren is the founder and owner of fowler35, a boutique studio in London’s trendy Fitzrovia district. His long-standing and ever-growing team encompass the character creation concept that stands out for clients, team and media alike.

As a hair designer who encompasses cut, colour and styling, Darren’s varied work sees him managing his successful studio and team, designing hair backstage at London Fashion Week, creating the hair for the characters his celebrity clientele inhabit on film and TV, and prepping his celebrity clients for red-carpet appearances.  

He also shoots editorial and advertising campaigns, works with designers on collaborations, creates looks (and characters) for the many models who are sent to the studio each week and creates bespoke education courses such as Tribal London, working with other creatives such as photographers, makeup artists and stylists.  

He educates in the UK and all over the world for brands like L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase and Shu Uemura Art of Hair. Darren is called upon to judge industry competitions, as well as being invited to be a panellist for and contributor to discussions and debates globally.

Darren is a current Kérastase Business Ambassador and former Kérastase Editorial Ambassador working with the top customers, consumer press beauty directors, editors and influencers, and he and his team’s skills are frequently called upon by L’Oréal  Professional Products Division.
